Description

Saves the compiler options into an object file.

Syntax

Notes

This option lets you save the compiler options into the object file you are compiling. The option has effect only when compiling to an object (.o) file.

The string is saved in the following format:

where:

B
Indicates a space.
f
Signifies a Fortran language compilation.
c
Signifies a C language compilation.
C
Signifies a C++ language compilation.
stanza
Specifies the driver used for the compilation, for example, c89 or xlc++.
options
The list of command line options specified on the command line, with individual options separated by spaces.
